Note: This is all… LI-CHAN’S FAULT. >.< It really is! I should have been studying for a quiz but noooo, she had to go and start up a discussion on TRC and then somehow X came along and suddenly we were talking about Seishirou and Fai getting along. >.>'' She just HAD to feed the plot bunnies with a good plot and so drabbles ensued. >.>’’ Comments are appreciated!

Seishirou looked up at the blonde man before him, continuing to talk non-stop about nothing that seemed to interest him at all. This man didn’t know about the vampire’s whereabouts yet he seemed intent on keeping him here in this world.

He sighed inwardly, smiling nonetheless- well at least he was amusing however irksome he was.

“So this Subaru you’re looking for must be very pretty ne?” Fai winked. “I gather you only want the best!”

Seishirou smiled, “Subaru-kun is the only source of my entertainment and my one true love- of course there’s no one like him!”

“How lovely!”

Seishirou stared at the enticing blonde man in his lap with a blank look- really this was all very entertaining but he had to move on.

“I’m grateful for your hospitality Mr. Flowright but I must move on now.” Seishirou tried to unlock the arms currently twisted around his neck. “You really have nothing on my Subaru-kun.”

“Aww, you’re no fun.” Fai pouted. “C’mon I’m sure staying a few days won’t be so bad!”

“And what about your Kurogane?” Seishirou knew by now that those two inseparable no matter what world he came upon.

“Kuro-pon?” Fai blinked. “He won’t care.”

“But my Subaru-kun will.” Seishirou murmured softly- eyes darkening as he gripped the blonde’s ponytail. “And so would I.”

“Do you really believe that?” Fai asked quietly, bangs coming low into his eyes. “Do you really believe someone is capable of loving someone no matter where they are and become hurt if they find out they’ve betrayed their love?”

Seishirou stared at him. How to answer that when he didn’t know the answer either?

“I don’t understand love either.” Seishirou murmured. “But I know I must find him.” His glasses gleamed in the sunlight. “He will fulfill… my wish.”

“Excuse me…” a low growl came from the doorway. “Am I interrupting something?”

Seishirou looked up with a smile identical to the blue-eyed man and waved, “Good afternoon Kurogane-san. Actually, no you’re not. Flowright-san was merely showing me out.”

“Doesn’t look like it.” Kurogane crossed his arms.

“Awww. Kuro-wan-wan is jealous!” Fai cooed jumping off of the hunter’s lap and clinging onto the red-eyed man’s arm.

Seishirou smirked at the interaction with mild interest. The blonde was an impressive actor but he could tell the ninja wasn’t fooled. Even if they were in different worlds, the soul was the same.

“I was asking Flowrite-san here if he knew anything about my Subaru-kun but he says he hasn’t seen him.” Seishirou sighed melodramatically. “I’ll be leaving now.”

Just as Seishirou began to get up, summoning the magic from his eye, the ninja’s words stopped him.

“We’ve seen them.”

He stopped the magic from flowing and stared intensely, waiting. The blonde man had his bangs low into his eyes, still childishly holding onto the ruby-eyed man.

“They left the village about a month ago.” Kurogane went on, crossing his arms.

“What bad luck. I’ll just have to move on.” Seishirou sighed.

“They didn’t say where they were going.” Kurogane added. “But you’ve got a message from the violet-eyed one. He told me to tell you to stop chasing them- they’ll just keep running.”

“Then I’ll keep searching.”

Seishirou smiled, waving at the two. Time to leave. He began the magic once more but was stopped again, this time by the blue-eyed man.

“Wait!” Fai rushed forward, holding out a small piece of parchment. “Subaru-san left this for you.”

Seishirou took the slip of paper and read the words scribbled there.

You’re getting closer Seishirou-san…

Yes, he was… He’d find Subaru.

Fai watched as the magic began to disappear from sight, the sky returning to normal. He smiled brilliantly up at the ninja, “I hope we see them again- all four of them. Those hunters and vampires share destinies closely intertwined with one another.”

“And how the hell do you know that?” Kurogane rolled his eyes.

“I have my ways!” Fai giggled.

“You sound like the witch.”

“I’m serious though- seeing them together would be nice. They deserve a second chance. And besides I would like to see Subaru-san again…”

“C’mon the kids are waiting for us.” Kurogane muttered.

“Coming Kuro-pon!”
